William "Will" Tuggle - Tuesday, July 25, 2017

William “Will” Patterson Tuggle, age 77 of Rich Valley, VA departed this life into the arms of Jesus on July 25, 2017 in Frederick, MD. Will spent his life as a Construction Superintendent in the Maryland, D.C. and Northern Virginia areas, and was a member of the Oak Grove Church in Rich Valley, VA. He returned to his home where he was born and raised in Rich Valley, VA when he retired in 2003. Will enjoyed working with his hands, gardening, hunting, fishing and the outdoors but the work he enjoyed the most was completed in his service to the Lord. Will was a devoted Husband, Father and Grandfather who has left a legacy of faith and love for his family. He had a special way of bringing laughter to his friends and family by sharing his stories, experiences and offering to help anyone in need. Will was preceded in death by his Mother and Father, Robert Tuggle and Nora Mae Fouse Tuggle, four sisters, Ruby Mae Doane, Ruthie Jane Rhea, Pearl Ann Austin, Sandra Sue Tuggle McNew, one brother Thomas Tuggle and one infant brother George Tuggle. Will leaves behind his loving wife Meredith Kennedy Tuggle, two sons and two daughters; Nora Mae Tuggle Barnes and husband Doug Barnes of Hagerstown, MD, William Randolph “Randy” Tuggle of Waynesboro, PA., Allie Renee Tuggle DeWitt of Hagerstown, MD, Robert Leon Tuggle and wife Stephanie of Middletown, MD. He is survived by his only living sister who he loved dearly, Mary Elizabeth Tuggle Olinger and her husband Richard “Duck” of Mt. Airy, MD. Will was blessed with 9 wonderful Grandchildren, Justin Michael Nicholson, Curtis Seth Kidd Tuggle, Timothy Alan Peake and his wife Leigh Ann, Matthew Thomas DeWitt, Carissa Marie Tuggle, Lindsay Michelle Peake, Sarah Lorraine Barnes, Rachel Marie Barnes and Ryan Randolph Tuggle. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews. Services to honor Will will be held at the Mt. Pleasant Union Church with Reverend Chuck Blevins and Reverend Jimmy Kelly officiating. Visitation will begin at 12:30 pm on Saturday July 29, 2017 with funeral services immediately following at 1:30 p.m. The family would like to invite friends to stay and enjoy a pot luck meal where together we can celebrate the life of our beloved Husband, Father and friend.

Our hearts go out to you all as you learn to walk on this Earth with out him, but looking forward to the day you will walk with him in heaven. He was a lovely man.

Love you "Will" an entire Tuggle family!  Unfortunately we are unable to attend on Saturday.  Please know we will be there in prayers!  Robbie and Stephanie let's get together when possible to celebrate Him! Love you all!

Will Tuggle you were a wonderful uncle and a great friend, I'll always remember your joking ways and you were always giving everyone you knew stories that kept us laughing, I have always loved your positive attitude and always seeing you smiling, God has blessed us all with your friendship and love. You're among the angels now and we will see you again and it will be a great time. God bless your family and i love all of them as they are my family too, they will find comfort in knowing that someday we will all be united in Heaven and what a glorious day it will be. Love you uncle Will and your memories will go on forever.

My heart and prayers go out to the family Will was a good man who always like to tease you and could make you smile. I can remember the story Mae used to tell me about him growing up but now he is in heaven united with his family. As that song goes "GO REST HIGH ON THAT MOUNTAIN" Will I sure you and dad will be talking of old times again.
