Eulis "Hebrew" Hunt - Saturday, July 1, 2017

Eulis Everett “Hebrew” Hunt, age 90, went to be with the Lord on July 1, 2017 at Johnston Memorial Hospital. He was a life long resident of Saltville, Va. He was a retired employee of Olin Chemical Corporation & Virginia House Furniture. Eulis attended the Buckeye Hollow Free Pentecostal Holiness church for 40 years. He was preceded in death by his parents Martin and Mattie Keith Hunt, 4 brothers, 2 sisters and a special friend Jim Call. He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Anna Mae Hunt 2 sons James & Barbara Hunt of Glade Spring, Va. Jeffery Hunt of Saltville, Va. 2 Grandchildren Heather & Josh Steadman of Kingsport, TN Little Jeff Hunt, Jr. and former daughter in law Juanita Hunt of Saltville, Va. Brother Sonny Hunt of Saltville, Va. Sister Ruby Leonard of Abingdon, Va. Several Nieces and Nephews Funeral services for Mr. Eulis Hunt will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Monday, July 3, 2017 in the D.R. Henderson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Wade Kestner, Brother Paul Stanley and Brother Allen Hunt officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 prior to the service. We would like to reassemble again Wednesday morning at 10:30 at the funeral home for procession to the graveside in the Mount Rose Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Wayne Hunt, Ernie Hunt, Tommy Hunt, Daniel Hunt, Bobby Dowell, Jerry Olinger, Rodney Olinger and Jeff Hendricks. Honorary pallbearers will be men of Buckeye Hollow Church. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Hospital Staff at Johnston Memorial Hospital as well as the Hospice staff. Online condolences may be made at D.R. My sympathy and prayers!

George and I were sorry to hear that Hebrew has passed but we know he is in the presence of at The Lord Jesus Christ. Geogr & I are with our family out of town on vacation this week but our thoughts and prayers are with Anna Mae and their children and families as well as with Ruby and Sonny and their families.

Mr. Hunt's families I use to work with Hebrew at Va House . He was a sweet,kind and very soft spoken man. Always had a smile on his face never spoke bad about anyone. So sorry To hear of his passing thoughts prayers for all

So sorry for your family's loss.  Mr. and Mrs. Hunt are truly two special people.  Always loved hearing them sing in church, he will truly be missed.

Heaven gained another angel this morning. I know he will be missed by all. Our thought and prayers goes out to the family and his wonderful wife Anna Mae
