David Henderson, II, is a native of Saltville, Va. David is a member of the third generation to serve Smyth and Washington counties. He began helping in the family business during childhood, eventually working full-time by the age of 18. Realizing he was being called to serve his community as a funeral director and embalmer, David attended Gupton Jones Mortuary School in Atlanta, Georgia and received his funeral service licensure at the age of 21. David has the same passion for serving families that his father and grandfather had and always puts forth effort to ensure families in his care can trust that their loved one will be treated with respect, dignity, and the utmost professionalism. In his free time, David enjoys working on his boat and spending his afternoons at the lake.

Donna Broyles is a native of Glade Spring, Va. She is married to the love of her life, Danny Broyles and they have a daughter, Dana Broyles Hutton. In her free time, Donna likes to take walks with her dog, Banjo; spend time at the lake with her Husband; and cook wonderful meals for her family and friends. She is a member of Dames of the Courts of Honor, The United Methodist Women, Daughters of The American Revolution, and a 49-year member of Byars Cobb United Methodist Church. Donna says that she enjoye her work at The D.R. Henderson Funeral Home because she "has the life experiences to empathize with those on their journey through grief."

Eddie Prater Funeral Assistant

Eddie Prater is a native of Saltville, Va. He is married to his loving wife, Jean Cardwell Prater. He and his wife have three children, Cindy, Scott, and Michelle. In his free time, Eddie enjoys spending time with his family, especially his six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He is a veteran of the United States Air Force and a graduate of Rich Valley High School. Eddie and his wife attend the Assembly of God in Saltville, Va. Eddie has been employed by The D.R. Henderson Funeral Home for over 26 years.
